    Following the transformative success of the Debut Carbon EVO in 2020, the Debut PRO takes the next step in raising the standard. This time, we didn’t just create a new turntable, but we also developed an entirely new cartridge. To celebrate our 30th anniversary, we’re going back to our roots, crafting something exceptional.

    Pick it PRO

    The new Pick it PRO cartridge offers a more vibrant and powerful sound, impressing with its expansive dynamic range. The perfect blend of components is key to delivering the distinctive, charismatic sound that defines the Pick it PRO.

    A MILESTONE FOR THE DECADES TO COME

    The Debut PRO introduces a groundbreaking design to Pro-Ject turntables. This audiophile turntable excels in every aspect—visually stunning and, more importantly, sonically outstanding.

    The precision CNC-milled components are meticulously designed to create a modern, sleek, and elegant appearance. The nickel finish applied to all aluminum parts provides a durable, resistant surface. This process enables us to produce high-quality, long-lasting components, avoiding materials like plastics that degrade over time and negatively impact sound quality.

    The tonearm bearing features a completely new design, precision CNC-machined from a single aluminum block. The final step is a nickel finish, enhancing the rigidity and ensuring smooth, precise tracking of the tonearm, with no degradation in function or appearance.

    Powerful Performance

    The electronically regulated synchronous motor drives the platter, delivering stable and accurate speeds. Easily switch between them with the toggle switch, and with the included round belt for 78 RPM, you can also enjoy your shellac records.

    A New Platter – A Deeper Dish

    The Debut PRO introduces an innovative platter design, a first for Pro-Ject turntables. It includes a notch for the record label, and when paired with the Record Puck PRO (sold separately), the puck’s weight ensures your record sits securely against the platter. The die-cast aluminum platter is precision balanced in an additional step to ensure uniform rotation. It’s anti-magnetic, which makes it ideal for use with MC cartridges. Explore the numerous upgrade possibilities that the Debut PRO offers! The anti-magnetic, heavy aluminum platter is equipped with a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) ring that dampens resonances, minimizing wow and flutter. The separately available Record Puck PRO offers extra damping and stability, making it the perfect accessory for the Debut PRO.

    Hybrid Tonearm

    The Debut PRO features a unique carbon-aluminum hybrid tonearm. The carbon layer provides exceptional rigidity, while the inner aluminum tube handles the damping. This design makes the tonearm ideal for upgrading to high-end MC cartridges!

    Azimuth & VTA Adjustment

    The redesigned tonearm base allows for both azimuth and vertical tracking angle (VTA) adjustments. The height of the tonearm can be adjusted continuously by loosening the two grub screws. These adjustments enable you to tailor the tonearm to accommodate different turntable mats or cartridges, ensuring optimal sound quality. Experimenting with VTA and Azimuth is essential for unlocking the full performance potential of your cartridges.
