PEARL 30i

The Pearl 30i, a 30th-anniversary tube amplifier, features a unique design with two separate units: the Amplifier Unit and the Power Supply Unit. The Power Supply unit is composed of four power transformers, two for the left channel and two for the right channel. Each channel has its own high and low voltage power supplies.

With 800 watts for the high voltage power supply and 200 watts for the low voltage power supply, the Pearl 30i ensures exceptional dynamic and transient response during music playback.

The amplifier and power supply units are housed in a high-rigidity chassis with superior vibration-damping treatment. The units can be placed side by side or stacked vertically to achieve the best signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio and minimize magnetic interference to the amplifier unit.

Customized power cables between the amplifier and power supply units are made from 6N copper silver-plated wire, ensuring optimal conductivity.

TUNG-SOL KT170 Tubes

The Pearl 30i is designed around Tungsol KT170 tubes, providing 230 watts of power per channel in Ultralinear mode or 145 watts per channel in Triode mode. This Class AB Push-Pull design uses four powerful KT170 tubes per channel for exceptional audio performance.

Dynamic Auto Bias

The Pearl 30i features an auto-bias design for the KT170 power tubes. This technology allows for automatic and precise bias adjustment, eliminating the need for manual bias setting when changing tubes. This ensures optimal performance, increases tube reliability, and extends tube life.

Dual Operation Modes: Triode/Ultralinear

The Pearl 30i offers two operation modes:

• Triode Mode: Tender, rich in harmony, and smooth. Ideal for vocal and instrumental music.
• Ultralinear Mode: Powerful, extended, clean, and energetic. Perfect for dynamic and punchy music, with excellent control.

Dual Timbres: Dynamic and Soft

The Pearl 30i offers two timbre choices: Dynamic and Soft, achieved by adjusting the operating current of the KT170 power tubes.

High-Precision Volume Control

The amplifier uses a JRC MUSES 72320V electronic volume controller, providing low distortion, low noise, and 106-step linear volume control for precise and enjoyable listening.

Protection Circuits and Soft Start

The Pearl 30i is equipped with advanced protection circuits and soft start functions to ensure optimal performance and longevity. It includes a 60-second delay when switching on, a soft start circuit, and BMI (fuse protection) functionality.

Inputs and Outputs

The amplifier features multiple input and output options:

• Four pairs of line inputs
• One pair of balanced XLR inputs
• One pair of RCA Pre-In inputs
• One pair of XLR Pre-In inputs

These provide flexible connection options with various audio systems, offering versatility and convenience in connecting to different devices.
