The Cambridge Minx X300 subwoofer is equipped with a 20 cm speaker and a passive radiator, powered by an amplifier capable of delivering up to 300 watts.
Designed to complement the low-end range of the Cambridge Audio Minx Min11 and Cambridge Audio Minx Min21 satellite speakers, the Cambridge Minx X300 subwoofer is extremely compact, with dimensions of less than 30 cm on each side. Despite its small size, this cube-shaped subwoofer is capable of reproducing bass frequencies from 33 Hz to 200 Hz with excellence. To achieve such results in such a small volume, Cambridge Audio has utilized a passive radiator to load the 20 cm active speaker. This configuration also offers the advantage of a large radiating surface, provided by the two 20 cm transducers.
The Cambridge Minx X300 subwoofer features a 300-watt amplifier with adjustable cutoff frequency from 50 Hz to 200 Hz, variable phase adjustment from 0 to 180°, and automatic or manual power on/off.
